Soriška Planina, a gem among mountain destinations, offers a wide range of activities throughout the year. We have combined breathtaking views of the Julian Alps and surrounding peaks with local history to create a unique excursion along the route of the former Rapallo border.
The tour of the Rapallo border begins in the car park next to the Brunarica restaurant at Soriška Planina (1,287 m). We take the Lajnar double chairlift to the summit of Lajnar (1,549 m), then continue along fortified military mule tracks, exploring military structures and fortifications on our way to the peaks of Slatnik, the barracks on Koru, and the cast-iron observation post on Možic.
