Night sledging is an exciting new winter activity at Soriška Planina. Visitors reach the top of the track using the Slatnik ski lift, then enjoy a descent along the illuminated track back to the starting point of the lift.

Sledging takes place on specially adapted sledges designed for transport on the ski lift, which we provide. Using your own sledge is not permitted.

As the number of sledges is limited, sledges must be reserved together with your ticket through our online shop. Your reservation is confirmed once payment has been received. WEBSHOP

Night sledging will take place every Friday and Saturday from 4:45 PM to 6:45 PM, from 19 December 2026 to 7 March 2027. An additional evening session may be available in case of high demand.

During the New Year holidays, night sledging will be available daily from 26 to 30 December 2026. During the school winter holidays, it will take place from Thursday to Saturday, from 15 to 28 February 2026.

Night sledging for corporate events and private groups can also be arranged outside regular operating hours by prior agreement.

OPERATING SCHEDULE:

1. Session: 4:45 PM – 5:45 PM = 40 sledges

2. Session: 5:50 PM – 6:50 PM = 40 sledges

3. Session: 6:55 PM – 7:55 PM = 40 sledges (The third session is available for booking only if all places in the first two sessions have been filled.)

In our online shop, you can select your arrival date, sledging start time and ticket type. Tickets are available for a 60-minute (1-hour) sledging session.

Please make sure to start sledging at your scheduled time, as extending your ticket afterwards is not possible.

Prices are in EUR and include 9.5% VAT. We reserve the right to change prices and operating hours.

* Children are defined as persons between 120 cm in height and 17.99 years of age. Children under 120 cm may use the ski lift only when accompanied by an adult (TANDEM 2). Lift access is free of charge for children under 120 cm when accompanied by a parent.

** TANDEM 1: One adult and one child up to 140 cm tall may share one sledge.

*** TANDEM 2: One adult and one child under 120 cm tall may share one sledge free of charge.

*** Children under 15 years of age must wear a helmet. Helmet use is also recommended for all other sledgers.

Sledge and ticket reservations are confirmed once payment has been received. Payment by bank transfer must be visible in our account by the next working day after the reservation and order have been received. Bank transfers are not processed during weekends and public holidays. You may also send us proof of payment by email to [email protected].

Night sledging will be cancelled in the event of unfavourable weather or snow conditions. Already paid reservations will be rescheduled to another date by mutual agreement.
